Pipe Cleaner for the Win!

I've had my sewing machine for over 10 years and embarrassingly have never cleaned it! While researching how to quilt on a normal sewing machine, I stumbled on a tip to clean out the bobbin area with a pipe cleaner. Dust and thread pieces latch on to the fuzz of the stick. Works like magic

Beware, pictures included are mildly disturbing and not well suited for OCD, clean freaks.

Ewwww!! (But yet so gratifying!)

This year we hosted his bus themed party at the local library. I saw other libraries have birthday packages including story time; ours only offers a large space for a small fee. Cruise Ship Lego Kits

Dusted off this old blog to share something fun! Here’s the full parts list, instructions, and templates for the LEGO kits we put together as Fish Extender gifts on our Disney Cruise. I know lots of people have made versions of these before, but when I went to create ours, I couldn’t find a clear parts list or ready-to-go templates anywhere—so I made my own! Hopefully, this makes it easier for anyone else looking to do the same. Cruise Ship Instructions

Tractor Parade Party

We LOVE parties over here. A party during a pandemic, however, makes it a little tricky! This year for our son's third birthday, we invited friends, and family to drive by for a tractor parade. Luckily for him, many friends and family nearby have tractors that they could enter in the parade! Treat bags were distributed to party goers and cookies too! Treat Bags: Ornaments: For these we added a personalized label to the back.
